I've heard nothing more about the destroyed hard drive & I haven't seen anything about the sole use of handguns. I ran across the link in a comment thread for reason.com on facebook. If you do a google/dogpile search for 'handguns used at sandy hook', almost nothing comes up. The media are not reporting INFORMATION.
It's hard to believe that reporters would not following up on the investigation, they would rather attempt to influence policy making based on hysterical emotions over gun
control.

Diane Feinstein wants semi-automatic rifles to be classfied the same way as machine guns & grandfathered weapons would be registered with the NFA Branch. They're who handles transfers of machine guns which require a $200 tax so there's no reason to believe that a tax wouldn't be on semi-auto rifles as well despite her site not mentioning it. Yet.

A different kind of true crime story, 3 doctors are suspended in Leipzig, Germany because they manipulated a list for patients waiting for liver transplants, to get the livers for the patients quicker. It's possible they took money to do this, but either way I can't say I'd be upset to get a liver faster if I was waiting for a transplant. I'll probably need one when I'm older and my liver has turned into a scarred rock from drinking :(

Not really connected to that, but the black market trade in human organs is a murky area of crime/ruthless capitalism which fascinates me. A very strange story of child trafficking by a 'humanitarian charity' is at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-20592304 - it's not reported there or in any European media but the President of Chad publicly accused the charity of kidnapping the children for organ harvesting rather than adoption.

Yeah, I saw part of Alex Jones last night while flipping through the channels. Jones sounds like a  nutcase but, I'm guessing, it's all an act for  infowars.com i.e. $$$.
