I was once in fairly regular contact with Sean from Wat Tyler and Hard Skin and can say that 100% certainly there is a lot of pisstake parody in Hard Skin, but also a genuine love of the classic Oi! sound. He kinda worships the first Cockney Rejects album.

I've seen them live at my hometown's big punk festival and it is kind of amusing seeing foreign skins and boneheads apparently taking Hard Skin at face value. These guys would be unable to punch their way out of paper bags and haven't been in a fight since junior school probably - they are just good musicians with a big sense of mischievous humour.

I thîng they are the quintessence of "Having a laugh" attitude. Thir sound is aa pure mix of Cockney reject meets / cock sparrer, but with a dignity of its own.
I know I sound like an HS groupie, but when they came out most bands were either turning to metal/hc influenced stuff or kept repeating the same riff of 4 skins "wonderful world" over and over again...

Listening to Los Crudos discography... fucking energy!

I'm looking for extremely noisy and chaotic hardcore/grind. I've seen this EP labeled as noisecore, but much of the noisecore I heard wasn't very similar to this. Any help would be appreciated.
