Some years ago i remember i had seen it -Hard Skin- credited to him on Discogs. But that credit was later removed. Any info ? If positive, i bet everyone will jump on it, price will increase and my chances to get it will be reduced, but i didnt happen to see it ever for sale 4 years i have it in my wantlist, so ...

Very important artefact, just to behold what John Murphy slapped together somewhere in London ca.'81 during his downtime as a session drummer for The Associates. It's fascinating to see how he wore his influences on his sleeve with the Ballard reference. I'd hazard a guess that the project was named after the onomatopoetic sound of a car car crashing, or machines in motion. Or is it directly related to his earlier no wave act Hugo Klang? It would be great to see it reissued with some liner notes regarding the history.

will be, but at the moment not yet decided what time of year this will happen. Other original labels who were involved, are also involved. So little coordination..

Do you want to reveal which releases will be included? I think i have enough to not be a target of this, but really interested nevertheless. I'm guessing ~4 full releases and then two discs of material from splits and such? What do you count as "XERXES tape era"? I guess 98-00 was transition era from cassette to CDR, and could be called either way.

Kadef / Use Your Pain / KdF : Vast catalog, too limited releases, splits, not much ripped online to sample. Due to these, instead of specific requests i think someone with knowledge [or artist himself] should curate a best-of boxset.

I think at least Psy.Phalanx was already mentioned, but imma mention it again: Psy.Phalanx and Thule Society! I know Old Captain did VHRIL and seems to have needed some time selling, but I'm not quite sure why. It sounds great (listening to it right now, in fact). Psy Phalanx and/or Thule Society with some Freak Animal/Industrial Recollections love and care should sell out at once, so long as there is a God. Fuck, Sackcloth and Ashes deserves "the vinyl treatment!"
