from my own experience, the vast majority of the obnoxious shouting comes from the carnivore side of the fence. contrary to what most meat eaters think, most vegans don't give a shit if you choose to eat meat or not. your life, your business. also, i don't see what veganism has to do with political correctness

I get more 'offended' by the endless tracking cookies found by Ghostery on the takimag site than anything written about.

My girlfriend does occasional DJ gigs and got a booking recently for a set at one of the UK's largest vegan fairs, around 1000 attendees. She slipped Cock Sparrer 'Watch Your Back' and The Fall 'I've Been Duped' into her playlist then we went straight to McDonalds after she got paid - felt so great! Nothing against vegans, I know some OK ones, but staring at a miserable crusty fucker behind a stall with a T-shirt saying ON THE EIGHTH DAY GOD FIREBOMBED MCDONALDS made the golden arches seem really appealing.

there you go, this is my typical experience with vegans, not all, but many ;-D for an omnivore that simply does not care what other eat (a i respect that) it's pretty frustrating to get blamed for the end of the world most of the time  :-D
