That is absolutely beautiful indeed!
And while I do understand that for some bands it might be quite extreme to see such a thing, I do like the fact that it seems possible over there. Or was there some media fuzz about it?

Well there were various provocations and you could see it named as "one of the most homophobic festival in Lithuania" as if Lithuania would have a special festival ranking according to homophobia or so. But the reason behind this "title" was someone asking on the festival's facebook page if "gay couples could get a family discount" heh. and the answer was somewhat smart and offensive - gay couples are not families and they are not welcomed in there. But apart from these small things, national tv had reports from there and so on. And this was the 16th time the fest was organized so it has its roots in here and more or less people know that this is not some sort of provocation etc. Or at least should know. But I think there will always be people who "suddenly discovered lurking nazi ghost" somewhere.

HE! HE! Its just sad how they project their confusion and down-rootedness in gender patterns. I think the first one was an extra in Lord of the rings - as an elf. I think we need to create a fetish for these girls as we did w the FEMEN chicks. What to name it though?

Apologies folks, a bit difficult to contain he hatered this weekend.

I guess the photographer nor the woman being photographed didn't get the irony of holding a sign telling men how to validate her while standing in front of a poster that says "women do not need your validation".

He!He! Well its true. Also its not like we men have this in our heads constantly. To bless their feet. Far from it. To my eyes its a need from within themselves. A confirmation on being part of a group. So .. should they have the slogan "I don't seek your validation" over their own mirrors! Sad objects!

QuoteAn advert for cosmetic company Ella Bache was deemed unsuitable for public display - not because the models are naked but because of the serious look on their faces.

Odd, sure, but no big deal, right?

Wait until you see the advert which was deemed ok to run in its place.

The one given the all-clear by the Outdoor Media Association to go on billboards was, apparently, because the models were smiling.

According to the OMS the smiling ladies are empowered, the serious ones are sexualised.

I believe one have to have autism to read the womens expression as "serious". Is the press afraid to take a serious debate? Sexualized? Yes!! Of course!!! - And for the pleasure of my eyes only - smiling or looking serious. HA! For the record I find them empowered and adorable in both poses. Are people worried that the sexualized/male chauvinism card is being drawn if one opposes this gender victim rhetoric? I find this news reel even worse than my sexualizing eyes. It presents the individuals as 2D paper dolls, and suggest that the viewer is an idiot.
