WCN put out full 200 minute version of Dwid Hellion of INTEGRITY / PSYWARFARE interview. Original one hour, good, but I think this is another proof that if you do not have any luddite obsessions, it could be worth grabbing the patreon membership. Additional, almost hour and half is still way better and interesting.
There are a lot of stories and topics that I am almost amazed how they wouldn't spark a bit discussion? Or does it somewhere? Discord channel? Don't know.

I don't recall ever being in touch with Dwid Hellion but he has been involved with so many people or even more things I'd have some sort of relation.

It's curious when he talk about his collaborations with mr. Lockweld and how there was urge for return already years ago, but was just feeling that people wouldn't really accept his christianity. Which is sort of funny, but also interesting. I have a feeling that there must be quite many openly religious guys in USA scene, that it wouldn't be THAT big deal and barely offensive? But at the same time, its curious question why exactly it would be offensive. Often the values presented are just about the same. One thing I was thinking, the offense might be that many times people "tolerate" a lot of underground stuff because they don't really take it seriously. Mass murder, fuck the world, and whather. It can be passed as just something that is thrown on the album. But devout christian? Suddenly it is something that feels this is actually real deal. I think people may be offended by integrity. Pun intended, haha... But let's say, the quality of being honest and having strong principles and character, and that the band/project isn't just edgy art. That appears to piss people off.
This is very interesting, I have thought at times that I should stop listening to and creating certain types of music because it seemed contradictory since I was exploring Christianity when having those thoughts. I have heard of folks selling off all their records once they get involved in Christianity, it changes people but people are also in constant state of change. I was listening to a Bible study where a Romanian woman was sharing her experience living as a Christian in a Communist country which is not accepted and she was constantly attacked. Christianity is one of the most hated religions but also seemingly the most powerful. Many huge rituals like the Olympics ceremony and the Superb Owl half time show usually ridicule and mock Jesus/Yeshua, it's mainstream to be a blasphemous Luciferian. They don't mock Buddah, or Allah, it's always Jesus.

However, the mindless masses are conditioned since a young age to reject anything unfamiliar yet noise fans are some of the most individualistic and open minded folks in this realm. Integrity is one of my favorite hardcore bands because the lyrics and art are very Gnostic and original. There are also many well known Christian hardcore bands, Tooth and Nail records had some solid releases. Also, Christians created all the satanic lore, without Christianity there would be no demonism, it's all based on duality; which most Christians and Satanists don't see. My problem with Christianity is that most churches don't allow heresy, just swallow the dogma and be a good soldier of Christ.

Seen Psywarfare last December and thought it was pretty meh. Macho posing without the heft of good noise to back it up. All the metalheads seem to really like it, but there was no real heaviness or substance to the noise, only simple synth with brittle distortion, and a guy with a mask running around pushing people. Would be good if the noise was good and heavy, but the noise was pretty bad, most local startup acts sound better than this.

Obviously it wasn't THE worst, and it was pretty funny to see all the metal guys going loose on mediocre noise. Maybe it's good noise for people that doesn't listen to noise in a way of Prurients Niagra Falls is liked by people that otherwise doesn't listen to noise.

It did strike me and a few others as being very American. Like a hamburger that looks fat and juicy on the outside, but tastes as a dry flat run-of-the-mill hamburger on the inside.

Straight murkin' riddim blud, absolute vile gash

Harsh.

Psywarfare / Exume tape is decent, but many times not very impressed by "musical standpoint". Lets say... checking out collab of Dwid and Iggor and I could assume there is just that thing happening like described above. Music crowd gets couple reference names of artists who's bands best album they worship, and sort of want to like the noise they are making. But damn.

I have all the issues of zine and waiting to grab the new one this weekend. As much as I like zine, and this many issues out, I don't really yet recognize the "voice of its maker", so to say. ALAP, Noise Receptor, Night Science, Troubled Sleep and so on, there is certain editors touch or decision. Probably also in SI, even if it really is mostly other people than myself who makes the content. With Untitled, I have yet to really have a feeling what the zine is about, its spirit so to say. Not bad thing of course. Just collection of interviews and writing of noise and related things is good enough for me.
It is possibly my own thoughts were just drifting while listening on interview, but it feels as if there was not much of "zine related questions", I would have been interested to hear. Some curious technical things, like how many do realize the global shortage of "special" papers? Or how the prices went up so drastically. As a guy who has been putting out or involved with probably... don't even know.. hundred, couple hundred, Zines? Almost 35 years by now, and has collection that is measured by meters, rather than numbers,  it feels like discussion of zine making is such thing, if you get to interview actual physical zine maker, there would be A LOT to discuss. It is possible there is more of that on patreon segment. In general, zine makers are quite unusual breed I'd want to hear more of. Vastly different creativity than sound making.

I think a cool idea for an Afterblast episode would be a behind the scenes of his studio and zine making process. If he's willing to share, that is. Kind of like Grant Richardson's cribs tour.

Talking of aftermaths, Sam Torres of CRAWL OF TIME, I only listened that 5 min clip but it was quite curious with his remarks about sort of... disappointment about cities of Europe being so similar to US. This is one of my dislikes and also one of things I like to travel less. If I want to see interesting landscape and nature, I have lots of things to see here in north of europe, even Finland. To travel to see "cities", not sure if that is reality, but the impression I have, and what people have told, is that the counter culture and even subcultures, gone virtual just about everywhere. Anywhere you go, you got the sort of, same things. Mainstream is just about identical in all "west".
Like Sam mentions in clip, of course, people are great, gigs nice, but to travel across to world to see "the same", things you could see by driving 15 mins from your house, hah.

His view about european hospitality is interesting. I suppose there are different approaches. If you get to play at the European industrial festivals, its like being treated like royal family. Then there is the "you get nothing" type gigs too and anything between. It is amusing, but true, how much case of beer can give. Despite playing show at total loss, and knowing it makes no difference and you could also buy your own beer, this little gesture might be what separates good tour from bad tour.

I finished the Dwid interview and it seems like the Apt. 213/Lockweld was extremely ill and prayed to Jesus for healing. Why is it when people are sick they call to Jesus, not Buddah, Mohammed, or Odin? Not that Christians have all the answers, why did God create Satan if he is an all loving creator entity? Some interesting stuff but I am sure most people here are not interested at all.
