Scat-O-Logy

I got introduced to THIS by some of my military friends. I don't like it but it's very entertaining in comedy sense.

A friend borrowed me Paul's Boutique from the Beastie Boys and....mind blown. I can't fucking stand License to Ill with the whole over-the-top pseudo-fratboy attitude and "Fight For Your Right To Party", so I pretty much just ignored Paul's Boutique. It's amazing. So many samples used, some are instantly recognizable (Beatles, Pink Floyd) but it all works together brilliantly. A lot of work went into this.

far and away the best album they ever did.

Action Bronson.

So fucking good. Really enjoy the fact that's he's a well versed chef and uses food frequently in his lyrics.

Just saw Notkea Rotta 3-pack live yesterday, features Notkea Rotta, DJ and guitarist of finnish punk band Lama, Rane Raitsikka. Very good and entertaining rap indeed, should get Rotta's albums too.

Mostly I prefer finnish rap and some gangsta/memphis stuff from USA.

I have yet to find its redeeming qualities, but I am open to learning.  My son is a rapper and is trying to help but I'm nowhere near there at this point.

Been enjoying this Finnish rap group a bit lately,

Of course, them being Finnish, there are bound to be asses and gasmasks, hehe..
