Murder Corporation "One life by murder" CD. Excellent, quite atmospheric Italian stuff. Amusing thing in this concept album is that he has been sampling audio from Finnish version of the documentary. Russian serial killer, but suddenly you get the "Rostov on nyt pimeänä, sillä sähköä ei ole" -line coming at the end of track 7! I did send mr. Murder Corpration some VHS tapes back in the day. It is curious times when you would interact with other people in different way. Internet times, one doesn't necessarily need to tell others what you are looking for. Like Slogun interview in Noisextra podcast where he tells about friends hunting & trading serial killer books etc. In sleaze VHS trades, book trades etc, you would get to know quite interesting details of other peoples preferences, that may not be so clear anymore when searching things with privacy of online surfing, as opposed to asking friends and other contacts for stuff.
Deathpile / Whorebutcher CDR. I mentioned many times I have sold quite a lot of CDRs from my collection, but I still got hundreds. Troniks/Pacrec collection alone is massive, but also there are other artists or/and publishers. Like, if this Deathpile title won't be reissued, then I have no chance than keep the CDR. Works fine. Many vote for GR to be his masterpiece, but I think as good as that album is, especially vocals, earlier material had often way better electronics. This split CDR being good example! Sodality cover song is excellent too! When this type of PE started to emerge, it was a bit different from the old school. Now it was HEAVY and thick, with aggro vocals.
Building Of Gel "Red" tape
I may have posted about this Building of Gel tape before, but its on todays playlist so.... One of the 90's Japanese noise names that have been forgotten. I would estimate tape on Freak Animal was the first? Then there was Self Abuse, Less Than Zero and some more. None of these vastly popular, but great stuff. Multiple members, technologically advanced and original sounding stuff.
Government Alpha split with Dogliveroil was reissued, GA side, on the CD box set. Dogliveroil side is just demented UK noise. Weird, "funny", often weirdo stuff, with dosage of harsh noise blast. G.A. Side, harsh noise master class. I simply can't remember when I first got in touch with mr. G.A. I know I head it on Susan Lawly comp. So it was very first GA track he made, but I do have most of early days tapes, had a lot of Xerxes CDR, and feels like man was always there, so no idea when first time in contact. It is Japanese artists I seen most gigs. Definitely. Seen his visual art exhibition in Osaka.
Thule Society "The myth of the twintieth century" tape+zine. I recall there was plan that this would be reissued on CD? It is not power electronics. Not really noise either. More like experimental sound collage and each side ending with electronic signal resemling single sine wave tone. Like test signal. Partially excellent, partially challenging material. I do like idea that it would be reissued, BUT only if it comes in full glory. If artwork compromised, would make no sense. Due 60 min duration, LP makes no sense. CD in similar size booklet would be ideal.
