Picked this one up from Tribe Tapes distro after having it hyped up a lot as something I would enjoy.  Those who suggested were right; I find myself quite fond of this style.  It sounds like the man's gear is just barely holding together.  Honestly gets so broken at points that I feel like I am listening to a defective tape slowly eat away at itself.  Yuck!  This is the second time in as many days that this disc has made its way into my player.  Maybe it gets a third...

DVDr for a new audio and visual project by Kiran Arora.

Imagery degradation and oversaturation for truly vibrant cascading bands of light. Very active and fast-paced filter sweeps, oscillators, and all kinds of cut-up synth noises.

Feels like an MK Ultra brainwashing program. Complete sensory overload. Recreational drug use would only enhance this already enjoyable experience.

Note: Definitely not for photosensitive individuals.

I'm so glad this one got a repress last year! This CD has also made It's way in my player for multiple listens as well and I absolutely love your accurate description of the material as being "broken sound exploration" That's an absolutely perfect way of describing HÖH sound production. I think that's one thing that keeps that project quite unique is that the sound is beyond lo-fi production in some sense, but yet conjurs this unbelievable atmosphere that can leave one in sheer awe and amazement! Some very captivating moments in their music hidden in the murky fogged production!
