Goddamn sluts I say!
Sent Discogs an email, a message on FB and a message on support request just to bomb them as much as I could. Here is the note I sent, you can regard this as an open letter. I encourage all to write their own responses and mail the company knee deep. Come on! What pissed me off further was that the mail DC gave to contact them via is out of use. Just for this I want to whip their soggy balls SLOWLY!
To Discogs,
yesterday I found out much to my surprise that your company had closed all opportunities to sell noise releases by the record label Filth & Violence (F&V). The response I got was this: "Sorry, this release cannot be sold in the Discogs Marketplace. If you have questions please email us at marketplace at discogs dot com". I find this to be a very strong reaction that borders on cultural censorship. It is a known fact between people whom listen to its output that F&V and its artists challenge established thought through exploration of radical artistic and political themes that often are exaggerated -and/or challenging musical and visual expressions. This is one of the key fundaments of noise music. I hope that Discogs will see past its misjudgment and reconsider its actions in the near future. To music lovers around the world this have been a sad and very disappointing day.
Note Discogs: Please use a valid email address next time when you are mass sending responses like this. Its then easier to get contact with you.
Regards,
T
